We recommend that all our guests’ book ahead to guarantee a spot, as by necessity we will have less tables than before, and of course we will only be offering table service. You can book a table online here. Please note we cannot guarantee specific table requests.
The Plough is a beautiful, traditional country inn with rooms, serving great quality, home-cooked food and offering a wide selection of ales, wines and spirits, including 40 gins and 25 whiskies.
Our menu offers something to suit every taste and occasion; it includes all of your favourite pub classics, as well as some more premium dishes for those special occasions.
We have 6 beautiful rooms available for you to stay in: each is named after a historic type of plough, some of which date back hundreds of years in their use. All of our rooms are en-suite and have Sky TV included.
